Eloise Ross
Eloise Ross is a writer, critic, lecturer and film programmer based in Melbourne, Australia. Eloise has a PhD in cinema studies, and her research specialises in sound studies, Hollywood history and the phenomenological experience of engaging with the cinema. She also co-hosts the podcast Cultural Capital, and occasionally indulges in radio broadcasting to spread more love about old movies. As Co-Curator of the Melbourne Cinémathèque she continues to share that love of old movies, and definitely spends a lot of time desiring things from the film world—locations, clothing, stars. She tweets at @EloiseLoRoss.

Eloise's essay entitled "What Does it Mean to Desire an Onscreen Abuser?" appears in She Found it at the Movies.
